It's interesting the topics discussed in these articles. I agree with the point made in the paper vs. tablet article in the fact that there really is no difference between paper survey's and digital surveys. They both have the same desired result with the same method to come to that result. Although, electronics do tend to heighten a students focus and learning capabilities, as explained in the second article teacher technology usage. In which it explains on how good technology helps a student learn, as well as, the development of a students focus. I found this interesting as i assumed it would support the fact that technology tends to inhibit a person thinking capabilities. The other two were fun to read because of the creativity in the types of technology shown.
I agree with Einstein on his quote. Technology has shown to take away a lot of important qualities that make us human. Self-reliance is an important one that has went away, given the amount of energy we put into doing as little as possible. Laziness is a cause of this and is becoming worse every day. Social media is another down fall of our society given the amount of time we spend at home hiding from people and talking online instead of developing social skills.
Technology both provides the convenience in life and learning sparks in the educational settings. We can see the bright side of technology when it shortens distances among people and facilitate learning; however, we also see how it changes the human social interactions gradually and even leads to the ethical issues. How teachers use the technology properly and efficiently in teaching will be a perspective they need to take into account.
